titleOfInvention | Cathode active material of lithium ion battery as well as preparation method thereof |
abstract | The invention discloses a cathode active material of a lithium ion battery, wherein the chemical formula of the cathode active material is Li((Ni0.8Co0.1Mn0.1)1-xMox)O2 and x is more than 0 and less than or equal to 0.05. A preparation method of the cathode active material of the lithium ion battery comprises the following steps: providing a Li source solution, a Ni<+2> source solution, a Co<+2> source solution, a Mn<+2> source solution and a Mo<+6> source solution; according to a stoichiometric ratio, adding the Li source solution, the Ni<+2> source solution, the Co<+2> source solution, the Mn<+2> source solution and the Mo<+6> source solution in a polycarboxylic acid solution, and stirring and mixing to form a sol liquid; heating the sol liquid at temperature of 50-80 DEG C to form wet gel; spray drying the wet gel to obtain dry gel; and heating the dry gel sequentially at a first temperature of 400-500 DEG C and a second temperature of 750-850 DEG C. |
