abstract The invention discloses a feed additive for reducing cholesterol contents in poultry eggs and meat. The feed additive is composed of the following components in parts by weight: 5-10 parts of sticktight, 5-10 parts of yam, 10-20 parts of red-back vegetable, 5-10 parts of selfheal, 10-20 parts of monascus red powder, 5-15 parts of pollen pini, 10-20 parts of kudzu root, 1-5 parts of bulbus allii macrostemi, 2-6 parts of drug solomonseal, 1-3 parts of helichrysum arenarium and 5 parts of additional components, wherein the additional components comprise ethylparaben, erythritol, chromium trichloride and xanthan gum, and the ratio of the additional components is 1:1:0.5:0.3:0.2. After eating the feed, hens can lay healthcare eggs containing a plurality of vitamins and microelements, the amino acid contents of the healthcare eggs are significantly higher than those of ordinary eggs, and the cholesterol contents are significantly lower than those of the ordinary eggs. The used raw materials are widely growing or easily cultivated natural plants which are edible, feeding or medicinal, and the raw materials are non-toxic and are quite easily-available, so that the production cost is low, and the feed additive is suitable for developing high-nutrition and healthcare eggs.
