titleOfInvention Gas diffusion layer for fuel cell and method for producing same
abstract This gas diffusion layer for a fuel cell is provided with a gas diffusion layer substrate and a microporous layer formed on the surface of the substrate, and is characterized in that: the microporous layer is configured into a sheet from a binder and a carbon material containing at least flake graphite; and the microporous layer sheet is adhered to the substrate. This type of gas diffusion layer for a fuel cell is capable of ensuring gas transmissibility without a component for configuring the microporous layer entering the interior of the gas diffusion layer substrate. In addition, the microporous layer contains flake graphite as a conductive material; hence, it is possible to improve conductivity and gas transmissibility. Therefore, it is possible to contribute to an improvement in the performance of a solid polymer fuel cell.
