abstract The invention provides a purifying method of candesartan cilexetil. The purifying method comprises the steps of: (a) adding a polar solvent into a mixture containing the candesartan cilexetil (II) and triphenyl methyl ether (III), and washing the mixture by adding a non-polar solvent after dissolved clarification; and (b) carrying out cooling crystallization on a polar solvent layer obtained by virtue of separation to obtain the candesartan cilexetil. The purifying method is simple and safe in the operation and is also high in the yield.
