titleOfInvention | Method for extracting protocatechuic aldehyde from ophiopogon japonicus and application of protocatechuic aldehyde |
abstract | The invention discloses a method for extracting protocatechuic aldehyde from ophiopogon japonicus and application of the protocatechuic aldehyde. The invention further discloses the protocatechuic aldehyde extracted from the ophiopogon japonicus. The protocatechuic aldehyde has a strong inhibitory effect on growth of radicles and hypocotyls of 11 kinds of receptor plant seedlings such as lettuces, lagopsis supinas and the like, and can be applied to direct development of botanical herbicides, or biomimetic herbicides as a lead compound. Products in all stage of extraction and separation of the protocatechuic aldehyde have a very good inhibitory effect on the growth of the receptor plant seedlings, and particularly, the finally-extracted active compound protocatechuic aldehyde has higher herbicidal activity and very low effective median concentration; the protocatechuic aldehyde can be applied to the direct development of the botanical herbicides, or the biomimetic herbicides as the lead compound. |
