abstract The invention discloses a ferro-tungsten alloy and a preparation process thereof. The ferro-tungsten alloy comprises the following components by weight percent: 30-50 percent of tungsten, 0.1-0.3 percent of erbium, 0.1-0.3 percent of thulium, 0.1-0.3 percent of ytterbium, 0.1-0.3 percent of lutecium and the balance of iron. The ferro-tungsten alloy has the advantages of high melting point and density, and effectively improves the strength and abrasion resistance.
