titleOfInvention | Rice lateral root formation control gene OsHK1 and coded protein thereof |
abstract | The invention discloses a rice lateral root formation control gene OsHK1 and a coded protein thereof. The full length of the control gene OsHK1 is 5,964bp, including the length of 2,994bp of CDS; the nucleotide sequence of the CDS is shown as SEQ ID NO: 1; the amino acid sequence of the coded protein is shown as SEQ ID NO: 2; a mutant can be formed due to the addition, substitution, insertion or deletion of one or more nucleotides of CDS in the control gene OsHK1, and the coded protein is represented as that the rice is insensitive to cytokinin, wherein the cytokinin inhibits the rice lateral root formation and promotes the elongation of the formed lateral root, resulting in normal formation of the lateral root of the mutant, and as a result, the capability of the rice to absorb moisture and mineral substances from outside can be greatly improved. The gene can be used for performing transgenosis modification for rice varieties. Therefore, a molecular regulation mechanism for the development of the rice lateral root is provided, and the foundation is provided for regulating a rice root system by means of genetic engineering. |
