titleOfInvention Synthesis method of 2-thiopheneethanol
abstract The invention relates to a synthesis method of 2-thiopheneethanol, which comprises the following steps: adding thiophene and methylbenzene into a reaction vessel with mechanical stirring, adding sodium hydride in batches, heating to 40-50 DEG C, keeping the temperature for 4-6 hours, and introducing epoxyethane, wherein the mass volume ratio of thiophene, methylbenzene, sodium hydride and epoxyethane is 100g:(280-320)ml:(65-70)g:(66-70)g; and keeping the temperature for 10-14 hours, regulating the pH value of the reaction solution to 1-2 with dilute hydrochloric acid, regulating the pH value of the organic layer to 7-8 with a saturated sodium bicarbonate solution, washing the organic layer with a saturated saline solution, and concentrating the organic layer reduced pressure to a dry state to obtain the 2-thiopheneethanol. The according to the method, the sodium hydride used as a locating agent reacts with the epoxyethane to obtain the 2-thiopheneethanol by a one-pot process; and thus, the method has the advantages of short process route, cheap and accessible raw materials, high yield and good product quality, and is suitable for large-scale production.
