abstract The invention discloses a method for determining the content of solid solution vanadium and non-solid solution vanadium in micro-alloy steel. According to the method disclosed by the invention, a mixed solution of distilled water and hydrochloric acid is adopted for dissolving a test sample, but the mixed solution can not dissolve non-solid solution vanadium which exists in a form of vanadium carbonitride, and the separation of solid solution vanadium and vanadium carbonitride in the steel can be realized by centrifugal sedimentation. In addition, as vanadium carbonitride is dissolved in aqua regia, the aqua regia can be utilized for directly dissolving sediment for preparing a solution. An inductively coupled plasma emission spectrometer is adopted for respectively determining the spectral intensity of vanadium in each of the two solutions; by contrasting with a relation curve between the spectral intensity of vanadium in a standard solution prepared by adopting the same method and the vanadium content, the content of solid solution vanadium and the content of non-solid solution vanadium can be respectively calculated. The method disclosed by the invention is simple, and the content of solid solution vanadium and the content of non-solid solution vanadium in the micro-alloy steel can be respectively and accurately determined.
