abstract The invention discloses a preparation method of a deoxidization catalyst. The preparation method comprises the steps: (1) preparation of an active component carrier material; (2) activation of the active component carrier material; (3) loading of the activated active component carrier material; and (4) activation of a catalyst, thus obtaining the deoxidization catalyst. The invention also discloses a method for deoxidization by use of the deoxidization catalyst. The prepared deoxidization catalyst has high selectivity, can effectively prevent carbon monoxide, hydrogen and other components from being generated by reaction of oxygen and methane, and can be used in an oxygen-deficient environment. With the deoxidization catalyst, oxygen and methane are reacted to generate carbon dioxide and water, which are easy to separate, and besides, the separation cost is low, so that the deoxidization catalyst is convenient for industrial popularization and application. After the deoxidization catalyst is used for deoxidization treatment, the deoxidization efficiency can reach up to 96%-100%.
