titleOfInvention Culture method for promoting river crabs to shell and delaying gonad development
abstract The invention relates to a culture method for promoting river crabs to shell and delaying gonad development. The method comprises the following steps of culturing young river crabs in an earlier stage; constructing a greenhouse; stocking the young river crabs; regulating temperature; removing the greenhouse and releasing the young river crabs; and culturing the young river crabs in a later stage. According to the method provided by the invention, water temperature of the river crab overwintering period can be improved by constructing the greenhouse by a temporary culture channel, so that the river crabs can be maintained in a growing state so as to promote shelling and growth. The light sensitive amount can be increased by wrapping the eyestalk of one side of each young river crab with a light sensitive ring, and normal gonadotropin secretion by glands in the eyestalks can be inhibited, so that the gonad mature delaying effect for the river crabs is obtained. The cultivating specification, yield and benefit of the river crabs can be improved. Harmless commercial river crabs can be produced to improve the additional value and market competitiveness of the products. The production cost can be lowered by constructing the greenhouse by the temporary culture channel.
