abstract The invention discloses a planting method for cotton, which comprises application of a nutrient in a growth period of the cotton. The nutrient mainly comprises: nucleotide potassium salts, deoxynucleotide potassium salts and sugar. The time of the nutrient applied during the growth period is twice: the first time is in a bud stage or a flowering beginning stage, 30g of the nutrient is added with 30l of water and is sprayed uniformly on one mu of cotton, and the second time is in a full-bloom stage, 30g of the nutrient is added with 36l of water and is sprayed uniformly on one mu of cotton. The planting method of the invention has the advantages that the nutrient has no toxicity, harm, residue and any adverse side effect to the cotton; the nutrient is beneficial to increasing of the yield and the income and improving the efficiency and has good effects of enhancing the resistance and improving the quality for plants; the method has a simple process, the cost is low and large-scale production and promotion are easy.
