abstract The invention provides alkyd ship hull paint and a preparation method thereof. The alkyd ship hull paint disclosed by the invention is prepared from alkyd resin, phenolic resin modified alkyd resin, a drier, a pigment, a nano antifouling agent, a fire retardant, a filler and an organic solvent. According to the invention, alkyd resin and phenolic resin modified alkyd resin are used as film-forming substances; the alkyd ship hull paint disclosed by the invention not only has lower surface tension of alkyd resin but also has good wettability to a substrate and the pigment; temperature tolerance, humidity-resistant water-resisting property, salt mist resistant property, chemical gas resistant property, light and colour keeping property and the like of an alkyd resin coating are further increased; the application field of alkyd paints on ships is greatly expanded.
