abstract The invention relates to rubber elastic friction particles for wet-type paper-base friction plates and a preparation method thereof. The invention aims to provide rubber elastic friction particles which have the characteristics of favorable compressional resilience, high temperature resistance, abrasion resistance, low noise, high and stable dynamic/static friction coefficient, approximate dynamic/static friction coefficient ratio and environmental protection. And the preparation method provided by the invention has the characteristics of simple preparation process and low cost. The technical scheme is as folllows: the rubber elastic friction particles for wet-type paper-base friction plates is characterized by comprising cis-1,4-polybutadiene rubber, hydrogenated nitrile-butadiene rubber, liquid nitrile-butadiene rubber, accelerator DM, anti-aging agent BEL-W, zinc stearate, teflon suspended resin, sulfur, boric acid-tung oil modified phenolic resin, aluminum oxide, antimony sulfide and potassium titanate whisker. The preparation method comprises the following steps: 1) weighing raw materials; 2) mixing, and taking out the raw material mixture; 3) carrying out thermal milling and molding by an open mill; 4) pulverizing to obtain particles; and 5) modifying the rubber elastic particles.
