titleOfInvention | Method for evaluating chalkbrood resistance of bee larvae |
abstract | The invention discloses a method for evaluating chalkbrood resistance of bee larvae. The method comprises the steps of: under a condition that a constant temperature and humidity incubator is adopted, transferring one-day-old bee larvae into a cell culture plate for culture, culturing the larvae with a bee larva culture feed at the temperature of 34-35 DEG C and the humidity of 75-90%, inoculating chalkbrood pathogenic bacteria for the bee larvae with a chalkbrood pathogenic bacterium spore suspension after three days, and counting the death number of the larvae due to chalkbrood within 6 days after inoculation. The lower the death number is, the stronger the chalkbrood resistance of the bee larvae of a bee colony is. With the adoption of the method, the chalkbrood resistance of the bee larvae can be judged accurately. The method can precisely detect the chalkbrood resistance of the bee larvae of the bee colony to be investigated, the interference from outside uncertainties under a natural condition is avoided, and the accuracy of investigating the chalkbrood resistance breeding nature of bees is improved effectively. |
