titleOfInvention Synthesis method of 5-methyl-2-isopropyl chlorocyclohexane
abstract The invention discloses a synthesis method of 5-methyl-2-isopropyl chlorocyclohexane and relates to the technical field of chemical engineering. The synthesis method disclosed by the invention is implemented by carrying out hydrogenation reaction on chloro-phellandrene in the presence of taking palladium on activated carbon or platinum on activated carbon serving as a catalyst so as to obtain 5-methyl-2-isopropyl chlorocyclohexane. The synthesis method of 5-methyl-2-isopropyl chlorocyclohexane disclosed by the invention is easily available in adopted raw materials, mild in reaction conditions, environmentally-friendly and high in product yield; the yield is 98%, the purity is 98%, and the product is an important intermediate for preparing a cooling agent N-ethyl-5-methyl-2-isopropyl cyclohexane formamide.
