abstract The invention discloses a preparation method of a multiwalled carbon nanotube supported silver phosphate visible light photocatalyst, and belongs to the field of preparation of nano materials. The method comprises the following steps of: (1) purification of a multiwalled carbon nanotube, (2) preparation of a silver phosphate cubic crystal with assistance of silver and ammonia, and (3) preparation of a supported silver phosphate visible light photocatalyst by taking the multiwalled carbon nanotube as a carrier. The multiwalled carbon nanotube supported silver phosphate visible light photocatalyst sample prepared by the method provided by the invention has regular shape, uniform particle size and better particle dispersity. Moreover, the source of raw materials for experiment is wide, the preparation steps are simpler and convenient, reaction can be carried out at a normal temperature, the production cycle is shorter, and the obtained composite material has a better structure. The prepared nano composite photocatalyst has an efficient degradation effect on the organic dyes rhodamine B and methylene blue under irradiation of visible light.
