titleOfInvention Laser propulsion device and method based on principle of laser-induced water drop breakdown
abstract The invention discloses a laser propulsion device based on a principle of laser-induced water drop breakdown. The laser propulsion device comprises a laser device, a water drop injection device, a laser propulsion device and a pulse signal generator. The laser device generates and transmits laser to the laser propulsion device. The laser propulsion device is coaxially arranged with the laser device. The water drop injection device is arranged on the head of the laser propulsion device and provides water drop working medium for the same. The pulse signal generator comprises a first pulse signal generator controlling the laser device and a second pulse signal generator controlling the water drop injection device. Since the water drop breakdown is more thorough than water drop vaporization and utilization of the working medium is higher, waste of the working medium can be effectively avoided, meanwhile, integrated propulsion performance is further improved, and larger specific impulse, impulse coupling coefficients and energy exchange efficiency can be achieved.
