titleOfInvention Phenolic resin molding material
abstract Provided is a phenolic resin molding material with which moldings having flame resistance and mechanical strength equal to prior moldings can be obtained without using halogen, antimony, or red phosphorus/organic phosphorus flame retardants. The phenolic resin molding material is characterized in comprising a phenolic resin and a flame retardant obtained from (A) a metal hydroxide, (B) unfired clay, and (C) a nitrogen compound, and preferably contains 20 - 60 parts by weight of the phenolic resin component, 2 - 20 parts by weight of component (A), 1 - 20 parts by weight of component (B), and 0.1 - 10 parts by weight of component (C) in 100 parts by weight of the phenolic resin molding material.
