The present invention provides novel compounds and novel compounds for use as medicaments, more specifically for the prevention or treatment of neurodegenerative disorders, more particularly certain neurological disorders (such as the disorders collectively known as tauopathies) and disorders characterized by cytotoxic alpha-synuclein amyloid production). The invention also relates to the use of said novel compounds for the manufacture of medicaments useful in the treatment of such neurodegenerative disorders. The invention further relates to pharmaceutical compositions comprising said novel compounds and processes for the preparation of said novel compounds.
