The selenium supplement method includes steps of performing cutting for the chrysanthemum, removing tops of the chrysanthemum, then picking all auxiliary buds and lateral branches of the chrysanthemum in batches, and finally pruning old stems flush with a soil surface; controlling water in a vain growth period of the chrysanthemum from July to August so that the chrysanthemum withers; piecing stems at lower ends of leaves of growing points of the chrysanthemum by a disinfected needle; and applying fertilizers to the chrysanthemum. The selenium supplement method for cultivating the chrysanthemum has the advantages that the chrysanthemum is subjected to cutting ahead of schedule, the tops of the chrysanthemum are removed ahead of schedule, accordingly, development of root systems of the chrysanthemum is promoted, a foundation is laid for future strong seedlings of the chrysanthemum, the chrysanthemum is effectively dwarfed by means of controlling the water, piecing the stems, applying the organic fertilizers and the like, nutrients rich in selenium are mixed into soil by means of spraying selenium fertilizers, and an effect of supplementing the selenium into the chrysanthemum is realized. |
