abstract The invention discloses a solvent for improving the antioxidation metabolic capacity of flue-cured tobacco. The solvent is characterized by being prepared from the following ingredients by weight percent: 0.1-0.5% of betaine, 0.05-0.25% of proline, 0.01-0.05% of nano carbon sol and the balance of water. The application method of the solvent is as follows: the solvent is used for 2-3 times in the early flourishing stage of a tobacco plant and interval time between two times of applications is 3-5 days; and the solvent is uniformly sprayed on the front face and the back face of a tobacco leaf by a sprayer, and the spraying reaches the effect that the leaf face is wet and water does not drop from the leaf. The solvent is based on the antioxidation metabolism characteristic of the tobacco leaf, the activities of superoxide dismutase (SOD), peroxidase (POD) and catalase (CAT) of the tobacco leaf can be improved, the content of the important antioxidation metabolic substance, namely proline (Pro) is increased, and the content of membranous maleicdialdehyde (MDA) in the tobacco leaf is reduced. The experiments prove that the spraying of the solvent disclosed by the invention can effectively reduce the adverse effect of drought stress on the flue-cured tobacco, the normal growth and development of the tobacco plant can be maintained, and the yield and output value of the tobacco leaf can be ensured.
