titleOfInvention Method and apparatus for generating electricity by thermally cycling electrically polarizable material using heat from a condenser
abstract A method for converting heat to electrical energy is described that involves thermally cycling an electrically polarizable material sandwiched between electrodes. The material is heated by extracting thermal energy from the gas, thereby condensing the gas into a liquid, and transferring the thermal energy to the electrically polarizable material. Also described is an apparatus in communication with a heat source, wherein the heat source is a condenser. Also described is an apparatus comprising a chamber, one or more conduits within the chamber for conveying a cooling fluid, and a removable electrically polarized material. Gas introduced into the chamber condenses on the tubing, thereby transferring thermal energy from the gas to the electrically polarizable material.
