abstract The invention belongs to the field of detecting drugs, and particularly relates to a method for identifying 4-methyl-cyclopentadecanon and 3-methyl-cyclopentadecanon. The method comprises the following steps of: weighing 10mg of two substance test samples to be identified in a 5ml volumetric flask, adding methanol for dilution to obtain a test sample solution; in addition, blending the two contrast substance products to be identified to obtain a contrast product solution; according to a thin layer chromatography, spreading, airing, spraying a color developing agent for developing, and judging whether the test samples are 4-methyl-cyclopentadecanon or 3-methyl-cyclopentadecanon according to the developing result. In the method, the raw materials adopted are low-cost and easily available, and the method is simple and convenient to operate, fast and easy for the result judgment.
