abstract | The invention relates to an air purifying device for a garage and in particular relates to an air pipe type garage purifier. The air pipe type garage purifier comprises a shell, a conical shunt and a filtering device, wherein an inlet is formed at the front end of the shell while an outlet is formed at the back end of the shell; an inlet flange is formed at the inlet of the shell; an outlet flange is formed at the outlet of the shell; the conical shunt and the filtering device are fixedly mounted in the shell; the sharp end of the conical shunt is positioned at the inlet of the shell; the filtering device is fixedly mounted at the back end of the conical shunt; the transverse section of the conical shunt and the transverse section of the filtering device are smaller than the inner wall of the shell; an airflow gap is formed between the conical shunt and the shell and between the filtering device and the shell; and the filtering device comprises a two-layer iron wire mesh cage, a Pt-Rh three-way catalyst layer and an active carbon column. Due to the combination of the air pipe type garage purifier disclosed by the invention and a mechanical air pipe of an air exhausting system for a vehicle garage in the prior art, vehicle exhaust pollutants in the air, such as solid suspension micro-particles, carbon monoxide, hydrocarbon and oxynitride, can be effectively removed, and thus air pollution caused by the smoke from the garage can be greatly alleviated. |
