abstract | The invention provides a manufacturing method of a toner for electrostatic charge image developing, which can effectively control grain diameter and grain size classification, and can produce toner with good electric charge. The toner for electrostatic charge image developing is composed of toner grains having bonding resin. The manufacturing method comprises the steps of a condensation process which is to add condensing agent formed by compounds having 2- or 3-valence metallic elements in dispersion liquid formed by dispersing bonding resin in water medium, and a condensation stop process which is to add condensation stop agent to the condensation series of the condensation grains. The condensation stop agent comprises at least one structure of a structure (1) expressed by the following formula (1) and a structure (2) expressed by the following formula (2). In the formula (1) and formula (2), R<1>-R<9> are respectively expressed as hydrogen atom, hydroxyl group, or organic group, wherein at least one of R1-R4 is expressed as the hydroxyl group, and at least one of R5 and R6 is expressed as the hydroxyl group. |
