titleOfInvention Rice OsAT1 protein as well as coding gene and application thereof
abstract The invention discloses a rice OsAT1 protein as well as a coding gene and an application thereof. The sequence of the rice OsAT1 protein is shown in SEQ ID NO:2, the sequence of the coding gene of the rice OsAT1 protein is as shown in SEQ ID NO:1. The rice OsAT1 protein and the coding gene thereof can be used for improving rice kernel weight and reducing the content of the kernel straight-chain starch. According to the rice OsAT1 protein as well as the coding gene and the application thereof disclosed by the invention, the rice kernel weight and the content of the straight-chain starch of the OsAT1 transgene plant are reduced; the protein and the coding gene of the rice OsAT1 have important practical meaning in adjustment of the rice kernel weight and straight-chain starch content. In a practical application, the OsAT1 gene is transferred to different rice varieties for cultivating more ideal rice planting varieties or the rice varieties for adjusting the expression of the OsAT1 gene to obtain the corresponding rice kernel weight and the straight-chain starch content.
