abstract | The invention provides an expiration sampling device which is used for diagnosing diseases by a 14C marked expiration test and is particularly used for diagnosing helicobacter pylori infection by a 14C-urea expiration test, and an application method thereof. The sampling device comprises a pipe-shaped component provided with a gas outlet, a gas inlet, an absorption assembly and an air flow channel; the pipe-shaped component is internally further provided with a scintillation assembly; one part of the air flow channel is formed by a gap between the absorption assembly and the scintillation assembly; when expired air flows through the air flow channel, CO2 in the expired air is absorbed by the absorption assembly; if the absorption assembly absorbing the CO2 contains 14CO2, beta grains generated by decaying pass through the air flow channel to be knocked on the scintillation assembly; and a scintillation body on the scintillation assembly generates scintillation light recorded by a scintillation counting device. |
