abstract The invention provides a culture medium for generating and growing a medicinal woody plant callus through meticulous design and repeated screening, overcoming the technical defects of difficult induction, slow growth and serious browning of the medicinal woody plant callus and providing a technical foundation for culturing the medicinal woody plant callus on large scale. The culture medium comprises the ingredients: inorganic salt A, inorganic salt B, an organic compound, 1.0mg/L 6 benzyl purine (6BA) and 0.1mg/L napthaleneacetic acid (NAA), 30000mg/L cane sugar, 7000mg/L agar and 50-150mg/L water-soluble carbon nano tube. The obtained culture medium can effectively induce medicinal plant-flos lonicerae and jatropha curcas leaf explant, and can also effectively induce other woody plants including schefflera arboricola, ficus microcarpa, adenium obesum, ivy and other leaf explants to generate callus, and callus growth is stimulated. Consequently, the culture medium is suitable for various plants.
