abstract The invention relates to a FRAT1 gene serving as a serum marker for thyroid cancer detection and application thereof. Specifically, the methylation level or state of the FRAT1 gene in the body of a thyroid cancer patient is closely related to outbreak and development of thyroid cancers, and the methylation of the serum FRAT1 gene can serve as the marker for thyroid cancer detection. An OXTR gene and the FRAT1 gene are combined for use and can well serve as markers for thyroid cancer detection. The invention also provides a thyroid cancer diagnosis or serum detection method and provides a corresponding diagnostic reagent, a diagnostic chip or a detection kit for thyroid cancer detection.
