abstract | The invention discloses a process for extracting pectin from alkali discharge liquor generated in canned citrus production. The process comprises the following steps of: (1), removing solid impurities from alkali discharge liquor generated in the canned citrus production and introducing the processed alkali discharge liquor generated in canned citrus production to a regulating reservoir; (2), continuously stirring the alkali discharge liquor in the regulating reservoir, adding a hydrochloric acid solution to the alkali discharge liquor, and regulating the pH value of the alkali discharge liquor to 5-7; (3), pumping the alkali discharge liquor with pH value of 5-7 by utilizing a vacuum pump at the bottom of the regulating reservoir to pass through a first ultra-filtration device and enabling the percolate of the alkali discharge liquor to pass through a second ultra-filtration device, and carrying out ultra-filtration to obtain a pectin concentrated solution; and (4), spraying and drying the pectin concentrated solution to obtain the pectin powder. According to the process disclosed by the invention, the pectin in the canned citrus production alkali discharge liquor is extracted and prepared into a finished product, so that the yield of alkali discharge liquor generated in the canned citrus production is reduced, the content of organic substances in the alkali discharge liquor is reduced and the wastewater treatment cost of the can factory is reduced; moreover, the pectin product is extracted from the wastewater, the additional production value of the citrus is increased and the economic benefits of the enterprises are improved. |
