titleOfInvention Catalyst used in recycling process of Klaus sulfur
abstract The invention relates to a catalyst used in a recycling process of Klaus sulfur. A catalyst carrier is formed by the following steps of mixing 20 to 30 parts by weight of zirconium oxide, 20 to 30 parts by weight of titanium oxide and 30 to 50 parts by weight of silicon oxide and pressing into a spherical or lumpish primary blank; an additive containing two or more of 10 to 30 parts by weight of zinc oxide, 10 to 35 parts by weight of manganese oxide, 1 to 5 parts by weight of chrome oxide and 1 to 3 parts by weight of ferric oxide is prepared into a slurry; then the catalyst carrier is poured into the slurry to form a mixture, wherein the proportion of the additive in the catalyst carrier is 10-35%; the mixture is calcined in a 700-1,100DEG C kiln for 1 to 2 hours and then is cooled; palladium or platinum is added into a 40% ammonium nitrate solution to prepare a solution of which the concentration is 0.5-3.0mol/L; nickel is added into a 30% ammonium nitrate solution to prepare a solution of which the concentration is 1.0-4.0mol/L; the two solutions are mixed together to obtain a mixed solution; and the calcined catalyst carrier containing the additive is poured into the mixed solution to be soaked, and then is dried to obtain the catalyst. The catalyst for recycling sulfur can be used on all bed layers, and the COS and CS2 hydrolysis rate respectively reach 99% and 70%.
