abstract The invention relates to benzimidazole polyimide wire enamel and a preparation method thereof. The benzimidazole polyimide wire enamel consists of a mixture of three components A, B and C at a mass ratio of 100:(5-15):(100-300), wherein the component A is formed by the reaction among 2-(4-aminophenyl)-5-aminobenzimidazole, aromatic dianhydride and 2,2-bis(3-amino-4-hydroxyphenyl) hexafluoropropane in a strong-polarity non-proton organic solvent; the component B is formed by the reaction between 2,2-bis[4-(2,4-diaminophenoxy)phenyl]propane and maleic anhydride in a strong-polarity non-proton organic solvent; and the component C is formed by the reaction among 2,2-bis[4-(2,4-diaminophenoxy)phenyl]propane, maleic anhydride, aromatic diamine and aromatic dianhydride in a strong-polarity non-proton organic solvent. The preparation method provided by the invention is simple, and the product has excellent comprehensive performance and good application prospect.
