abstract | The invention discloses a halogen-free flame retardant silicone rubber/modified polyamide thermoplastic elastomer and a preparation method thereof. The thermoplastic elastomer is prepared by: subjecting, by weight, 100 parts of methyl vinyl silicone rubber, 40 parts of precipitated silica, 1-3 parts of methyl hydrogen-containing silicone oil, 5*10<-5>-1*10<-4> parts of a hydrosilylation catalyst, 10-30 parts of a flame retardant, 0.5 part of an antioxidant, and 50-100 parts of modified polyamide 6 to dynamic vulcanization and extrusion granulation by a parallel co-rotating twin-screw extruder. The halogen-free flame retardant silicone rubber/modified polyamide thermoplastic elastomer provided in the invention still has a substantial flame retardant effect in the circumstance of a low flame retardant adding dosage, and shows excellent mechanical properties. The preparation process of the halogen-free flame retardant silicone rubber/modified polyamide thermoplastic elastomer is simple, easy to control, and has low equipment requirement. The used equipment is all commonly used polymer processing equipment, and the investment is not high. The technological process is shortened, the energy is saved, and the production efficiency is improved, thus facilitating popularization and application of the halogen-free flame retardant silicone rubber/modified polyamide thermoplastic elastomer. |
