abstract | The invention discloses a silk fibroin tube and a preparation method thereof, and in particular relates to a silk fibroin tubular material with excellent mechanical performance and a preparation method thereof. The preparation method comprises the following steps of degumming, dissolving and dialyzing silk serving as a raw material to prepare silk fibroin liquid; weaving a degummed silk yarn on a first die to form a frame structure, fixing the structure in a cylindrical second die, injecting the silk fibroin liquid, and preparing the high-strength silk fibroin tube which uses the degummed silk yarn as the frame through controlling volatilization of water in the silk fibroin. The preparation method is mild in preparation process, does not require any crosslinking agent or other toxic organic reagents, is controllable in conidition and easy to industrialize, and can be used for controlling the size and shape of the tubular material by changing the dies. The dry-state and wet-state mechanical performances of the prepared silk fibroin can be remarkably improved, and the strength of the prepared silk fibroin tube can effectively fulfill the clinical actual sewing requirement. The silk fibroin tube can be applied to blood vessels, nerve conduits, fistula and other related medical fields. |
