| abstract | The invention discloses a taditional Chinese medicine fumigation lotion used for treating children rubella. Rubella is considered as wing fever in Chinese medical science. It is commonly considered that the disease is caused by rubella toxin which is brought from mouth and nose, accumulated in lung and stomach, and stored in lung, spleen, and skin. Wei qi struggles with the toxin, and rubella is caused. Therefore, according to the invention, traditional Chinese medicine materials of franchet groundcherry calyx or fruit, Paris polyphylla smith, Asiatic moonseed rhizome, indigowoad leaf, common yam stem vine, puberulous glochidion branchlet and leaf, eriocarpous glochidion leaf, tree peony root-bark, redcalyx glorybower root, redroot gromwell, purslane speedwell herb, common ducksmeat herb, thorowort pondweed herb, skunk bugbane rhizome, and sawgrass root are decocted into a washing lotion by using water. As a results of clinical experiments of our hospital, after 3 days of treatment, rash subsiding rate and lymphadenopathy subsiding rate of a treated group are both higher than those of a control group. Side effect of fumigation is low, such that the fumigation lotion is suitable to be popularized. |
