The present invention relates to an organic electroluminescence element having high efficiency, durability and low driving voltage. The organic electroluminescence element has a pair of electrodes consisting of an anode and a cathode on a substrate, and an electrode comprising a pair of electrodes located between the pair of electrodes. At least one organic layer of the light-emitting layer, and at least one of the at least one organic layer contains a specific compound having a dibenzothiophene or dibenzofuran structure and a phenanthrene structure. The present invention also relates to this specific compound. |
