abstract The invention discloses a sandwich flat plate array type-based thermoelectric generator. The sandwich flat plate array type-based thermoelectric generator comprises four thermoelectric generation modules which are the same, a cooling plate, four protection plates, a parallel circuit, an outer cabinet left side plate, an outer cabinet right side plate, an outer cabinet upper side plate, an outer cabinet lower side plate, a cooling water pipe, gas hoods and ventilation pipes, wherein a cabinet body is formed by combining the outer cabinet left side plate, the outer cabinet right side plate, the outer cabinet upper side plate and the outer cabinet lower side plate; the two end faces of the cabinet body are connected with the gas hoods and the ventilation pipes respectively; the four thermoelectric generation modules are embedded into grooves between the outer cabinet left side plate and the outer cabinet right side plate through the two ends of the protection plates respectively, and are connected into an output circuit by the parallel circuit; the cooling water pipe is connected with cooling passages of the outer cabinet left side plate and the outer cabinet right side plate through limber holes in the two sides of the front and rear gas hoods; the same side of each of the front and rear gas hoods is connected with the water inlet end of the cooling water pipe, and the other side of each of the front and rear gas hoods is connected with the water outlet end of the cooling water pipe. The sandwich flat plate array type-based thermoelectric generator can be adapted to exhaust pipes with different apertures, has high heat collection and cooling capability, and can be used for effectively collecting energy in automobile exhaust.
