| abstract | The invention relates to a traditional Chinese medicine which can be orally taken and externally applied and is used for curing pruritus vulvae of old women. The medicine is composed of the following raw materials by weight: 8% of dogwood, 8% of polygonum multiflorum, 6% of ripe glossy privet fruit, 20% of tortoise shell, 6% of arnebia euchroma, 6% of alternanthera sessilis, 4% of fried radix paeoniae rubra, 4% of fried radix paeoniae alba, 4% of uncooked rice kernels, 4% of cooked rice kernels, 6% of rhizoma smilacis glabrae, 6% of rhizoma alismatis, 6% of goji, 6% of rhizoma polygonati and 6% of the root of red-rooted salvia. The five Chinese herbal medicines are made into pills; in addition, herba epimedii, fructus cnidii, arnebia euchroma and raspberry are blended as per the mass ratio of 1:1:1:1, then are subjected to superfine crushing, soaked with alcohol for 24 to 36 hours, stirred fully, centrifuged, and filtered, and then the soaked liquid is prepared into washing liquor with the concentration of 5% for external application. The old women suffering from pruritus vulvae can take the pills for three times in one day, take 8 to 10g with warm water after a meal at each time, and can wash vulva with washing liquor, thus, generally, after 5 to 7 days, the pruritus vulvae can be cured. |
