abstract The invention discloses colla corii asini rough relieving powder which is a Chinese patent drug for treating a cough of the old due to a weak constitution. Repeated coughing of the old is a common disease which is generated due to lung aging, insufficient anti-pathogenic energy, the weak constitution, malfunction of nutritive qi and defensive qi, and decreasing of reaction capacity to outside; once the old have a cold and the cough, new affection initiates aeipathia; the original chronic disease is worsened; and even a life is endangered. The powder adopts the technical scheme that the powder comprises the following medicinal materials by proportioning: 25% of colla corii asini (stir-frying with bran), 18% of fructus aristolochiae (processing with honey), 12% of fructus arctii, 13% of almond, 5% of mulberry bark, 5% of thunberg fritillary bulb, 5% of sea clam powder, 5% of indico naturalis, 5% of asarum, 4% of ginseng and 3% of radix glycyrrhizae preparata, and the traditional Chinese medicines are subjected to ultrafine grinding, mixed uniformly, and prepared into powder. A patient takes 3-5g powder with warm water after a meal, and generally coughs less after three days, and the disease is improved; if urinary system symptoms occur after the patient takes the powder, the patient stops taking the powder immediately; and if symptoms are not improved after the patient takes the powder for 3-5 days, the patient is required to go to a hospital immediately for eliminating pneumonia, a lung cancer and the like.
