titleOfInvention | Suspension polymerization preparation method of polystyrene/meerschaum particle |
abstract | The invention discloses a suspension polymerization preparation method of a polystyrene/meerschaum particle, and the method comprises the following steps: (1) surface modification of the meerschaum: dispersing the meerschaum in ethanol, and adding a silane coupling agent for modification; and (2) synthesis of the polystyrene/meerschaum particle, (a), dissolving a dispersant, (b) uniformly mixing the modified meerschaum and styrene monomers, and subjecting the resulting mixture to ultrasonic dispersion; and (c), pouring an evocating agent into a dispersed styrene/meerschaum suspension for dissolving, then immediately mixing the resulting mixture and the dispersant, controlling stirring speed and temperature, and cooling and discharging after reaction polymerization for 3-6 hours to obtain the polystyrene/meerschaum particle. By adopting the suspension polymerization preparation method provided by the invention, only the modified meerschaum is added into the styrene to prepare the polystyrene/meerschaum particle, the prepared polystyrene/meerschaum particle is an organic-inorganic composite material, and the addition of the inorganic mineral material of the meerschaum can be used for effectively improving the shock strength of the polystyrene, and simultaneously improving the thermal tolerance of the polystyrene. |
