The invention discloses an insecticidal composition of indoxacarb and cartap. The insecticidal composition comprises first active ingredient indoxacarb and second active ingredient cartap as well as common helper components, wherein the weight ratio of the indoxacarb to the cartap is 40:1-1:40. a large amount of indoor and outdoor experiments show that the compounded insecticidal composition has a synergetic effect and has excellent preventing and treating effects on various lepidoptera pests, such as plutella xylostella, cabbage caterpillar, asparagus caterpillar, prodenia litura, cotton bollworms, rice stem borers, yellow rice borers and rice leaf rollers, on crops such as vegetables, cottons and rices. |
