titleOfInvention Dye Composition and Dye Synthesis
abstract The invention relates to a sulfonated asymmetric pentamethine optical dye composition, especially a dye suitable for in vitro biological application and in vivo imaging. Improved dye compositions and intermediates are provided that are capable of suppressing undesirable newly identified impurities. Also provided is the use of the improved dye composition in the preparation of a conjugate with a biological targeting molecule.
