abstract The present invention provides a novel compound that can be applied to a transport layer, a host material or a luminescent material of a light-emitting element, so as to manufacture a high-performance light-emitting element. The present inventors synthesized a dibenzo[c,g]carbazole compound in which the nitrogen of the dibenzo[c,g]carbazole derivative is combined with at least anthracene Bonded to an aryl group having 14 to 30 carbon atoms. By using this dibenzo[c,g]carbazole compound, a light-emitting device having very excellent characteristics can be easily obtained.
