titleOfInvention | Continuous bulk polymerization method of ABS resin |
abstract | The present invention relates to a continuous bulk polymerization method of ABS resin, and is mainly to solve the problem that the ABS resin prepared by using a mono-functional group initiator in the prior art can improve the polymerization reaction rate and at the same time often leads to a serious decline in molecular weight of the polymer. The present invention comprises the following steps: a) adding rubber, a monomer and a solvent to a first reactor, and continuously stirring to give a sol solution mixture; b) reacting the sol solution mixture in the first reactor for the graft polymerization reaction to obtain a pre-polymer under the circumstance of initiating by a free radical initiator; wherein the free radical initiator is a poly-functional group organic peroxide or a mixture of poly-functional organic peroxide and at least one agent selected from the group consisting of mono-functional organic peroxides or azo based initiators; and c) introducing the prepolymer into a second polymerization reactor for the deeper polymerization reaction to obtain a polymer melt. The technical solution that the ABS resin is obtained through devolatilization and granulation preferably solves the problem, and can be used for the industrial production of the ABS resin. |
