abstract | The invention discloses a promoter and application thereof. The promoter has sequences of 1) a DNA sequence of a sequence 1 in the sequence table; 2) a DNA sequence of 82-1048th site from 5'terminal of the sequence 1 in the sequence table; 3) a DNA sequence of 379-1048th site from 5' terminal of the sequence 1 in the sequence table; 4) a DNA sequence of 622-1048th site from 5' terminal of the sequence 1 in the sequence table; 5) a DNA sequence having 90% of similarity with the DNA sequences defined as 1) 2) 3) or 4) and with promoter function; and 6) a nucleotide sequence capable of hybridizing with the DNA sequence defined by the sequence 1 in the sequence table under highly stringent conditions. The promoter provided by the invention can specifically express in pericarp and leave of Litchi chinensis, and can be used for cultivation of transgenic plants and control of tissue-specific expression of exogenous gene expression, and especially tissue specific expression in pericarp of Litchi chinensis. |
