abstract The invention provides hydrolysis resistant urethane resin for garment synthetic leather. The urethane resin comprises the following components in part by weight: 5 to 25 parts of isocyanate compound, 5 to 10 parts of polyester polyhydric alcohol compound, 10 to 40 parts of polyether polyhydric alcohol compound, 0.2 to 1.0 part of hydroxyl-containing low molecular weight compound, 1 to 10 parts of accessory ingredient, 1 to 10 parts of additive and 50 to 90 parts of dimethyl formamide. The invention also provides a preparation method of the urethane resin and the application of the urethane resin to the preparation of the synthetic leather. The preparation method of the urethane resin is simple, the cost is low, the content of ester linkage in the urethane resin is greatly reduced by introducing a large amount of polyether to raw materials, the hydrolysis resistance performance of the urethane resin is greatly improved, and the service life of synthetic leather garment is effectively increased.
