abstract |
Disclosed is a gas decomposition element which can utilize an electrochemical reaction to achieve high treatment performance while reducing the running cost for the element. Specifically disclosed is a gas decomposition element comprising: a tubular MEA (7) which comprises an anode (2) arranged on the inner surface side of the tubular MEA (7), a cathode (5) arranged on the outside surface side of the tubular MEA (7), and a solid electrolyte (1); and a porous metallic body (11s) which is mounted on the inner surface side of the tubular MEA and is electrically connected to the anode (2). In the gas decomposition element, a metallic mesh sheet (11a) is arranged between the anode (2) and the porous metallic body (11s). Also specifically disclosed is a gas decomposition element comprises the tubular MEA (7) and a silver-paste-coated wiring line (12g) laminated on the cathode (5), wherein the silver-paste-coated wiring line (12g) comprises a porous material. |
