titleOfInvention | Method for producing electrolyte solution for lithium ion battery, and lithium ion battery using the electrolyte solution |
abstract | Disclosed are: a method for producing an electrolyte solution for a lithium ion battery, said electrolyte solution containing lithium hexafluorophosphate as the electrolyte; and a lithium ion battery using the electrolyte solution. Specifically, phosphorus trichloride, chlorine and lithium chloride are caused to react with one another in a nonaqueous organic solvent, then the reaction product produced in the solvent is caused to react with hydrogen fluoride, after that unreacted hydrogen fluoride is caused to react with lithium chloride, and then the processed liquid is separated into a filtrate and a solid residue by filtration. The filtrate is obtained as an electrolyte solution for a lithium ion battery. Meanwhile, the solid residue is caused to react with phosphorus trichloride and chlorine in a nonaqueous organic solvent, then the reaction product produced in the solvent is caused to react with hydrogen fluoride, and after that unreacted hydrogen fluoride is caused to react with lithium chloride. Since the reaction residue can be reused as a production starting material, the production cost can be reduced. |
