titleOfInvention Preparation method of absorbent for selectively reducing benzo[a]pyrene content in cigarette smoke
abstract The invention discloses a preparation method of an absorbent for selectively reducing benzo[a]pyrene content in cigarette smoke. The preparation method comprises the following steps: taking phenanthroline or phenanthroline-iron complex as a fake template, taking a-methacrylic acid, acrylamide, 2-vinylpyridine or 4-vinylpyridine as a functional monomer, taking methanol as a solvent, and taking ethylene glycol dimethacrylate as a cross-linking agent, to synthesize a needed absorbent by a mass polymerization. The absorbent is applied to a ternary composite rod, when the addition amount is 10 mg/cigarette, the reduction rate of benzo[a]pyrene in cigarette smoke is 21.4%, and the relative reduction rate relative to tar is 7.0%; and when the addition amount is 20 mg/cigarette, the reduction rate of benzo[a]pyrene in cigarette smoke is 33.0%, and the relative reduction rate relative to tar is 11.8%; thus the effect of selectively reducing benzo[a]pyrene is very obvious, and the preparation method can be applied to cigarette productions.
